EARTH DAY WEED-OUT AT UNION SLOUGH: CALLING ALL VOLUNTEERS
Marysville, WA Apr 09, 2008The April 19th Weed-Out Earth Day project at Union Slough needs more volunteers to help “free the trees” by yanking, digging and hacking back pesky weeds. Here’s a great chance to get a little muddy and give back to the Earth, your community and yourself.
People For Puget Sound provides the tools, refreshments and lots of encouragement. Wear sturdy work shoes/boots and clothes to get dirty in. Dress for the weather, and bring a sack lunch and a water bottle.
