What are native plants?
Native plant species are species that have lived in a particular area for a very, very long time. Because of this, the plants are used to the conditions in that place, and the native animals that live in the same place are used to having those plants around for food and shelter. Native plants are easy to take care of, and attract native wildlife to your yard or garden.
