May 24- Exploring Puget Sound's creatures from a pier with light and naturalists

Night Time Magic

Join us for more pier-side fun as we get up close and personal with some of the spineless creatures of Puget Sound by dropping a submersible light into the water and watching to see who will join us for the evening.

Jellyfish of all sorts, polycheate worms, skeleton shrimp, squid, nudibranchs (sea slugs) and even a harbor seal have made appearances.  As the weather warms, learn who the next bright star on the creature marquis might be.

Dress for the weather (rain paints are suggested for kneeling on pier); bring a flashlight and a smile.  Refreshments will be available.

Because of high turn out for these events, we are limiting registration to 40 people. Please email your reservations as soon as possible. First come, first served.

This is a family event, but please remember that all children must be closely supervised by their parents.
