I was born and raised in northwestern Pennsylvania (north of Pittsburgh) and have lived and worked in the Puget Sound area since 2006.  Right now my favorite place is Orcas Island because it is beautiful and special to me because that is where I got married, but I know there are many other jewels of the Sound that I have yet to explore. I've worked at People For Puget Sound since December 2007.  I've enjoyed my time here because my co-workers are pleasant and passionate about their work.  I believe in what we do, and love working with volunteers to create a healthier Sound and community.
