“I was born in Richland, Washington, and gerw up in the northern outskirts, wandering the desert and the banks of the Columbia River. I’ve lived in the Puget Sound area for 21 years and worked here since 2004. I plan and lead beachwalks and I love seeing the delight and wonder on the faces of beachwalkers as we discover strange creatures at lowtide. When I’m on my own time, look for me at San Juan Island County Park, because  there I can watch the orca whales pass by and listen to the oystercatchers on the rocks -- all from my campsite.”
